We are very happy with our service and will definitely hire Carlos again!! We had a leak coming from our HVAC system and had no idea why. Carlos immediately diagnosed the issue, took apart the humidifier and discovered a nasty moldy situation. He and his assistant calmly (and without judgment!) handled the problem, completely cleaned the mold away, shored up loose items, replaced the filter, added an extra pipe, all the while giving friendly explanations of what they were doing. They then agreeably checked the electric baseboard heaters in another location of the house. Their price was incredibly competitive, and we are very pleased with the service we received! We’re happy to have heat again without flooding the basement!!

They are professional from the very beginning, unlike many other air conditioning heating companies would sent sales person over who knows nothing, they were able to diagnose (for free!!) and they are quick too, we got a new boiler set up in 2 days. They are also very thoughtful, would try to source quality materials and save money for customers at the same time!

I’m so happy I contacted Carlos! We just brought our baby home from the hospital and the house didn’t have any heat. Carlos was able to come out quickly and figure out the problem. Then, instead of saying we had to order all new parts (which would’ve taken extra time and money), Carlos was able to fix everything quickly and made a few specific repairs/replacements to get us back up and running quickly. And the best thing is he checked back in later to make sure everything was running smoothly (very considerate!). I’ll definitely be calling Carlos again for all my heating and cooling needs.

This is a great company. I searched around for HVAC companies. This company gave us a complete replacement system and was honest about pricing and limitations of what could work. The value for what I received was very good and the owner was responsive to a small concern we had about the job. He answers questions. They are in and out and very professional. We would use again!

I had the furnace and air conditioning units replaced. The service was impeccable. They were very prompt with responding to service neds, punctual to the minute with responses and arrival time to complete the work. The job was completed timely and the cost was beyond affordable! Better units installed than what was in place and cost remained affordsble..cant emphasize that enough! I am a very satisfied customer!

This is my second HVAC install, and they were twice as quick as the last guys (different house, in different state.) AHR's crew were friendly, time efficient, and the finished product looked clean and everything I expected. Also, best price in town! Not sure how the other guys stay in business with Carlos out there hustling! Seriously though, $2K-$3K less than other people. He gets 5 stars, plus my recommendation to anyone that hast to ask outside of this app.

Carlos came to my home on time and thoroughly checked my AC Unit. He was kind, courteous and very professional. Carlos was extremely thorough as he walked me through everything. He confirmed that I definitely don’t have a leak coming from my AC Unit in the inside of my home. He did a very thorough check of the outside unit and noticed It was blowing hot air and was a bit loud. Carlos opened up the unit and he checked the compressor, checked the air flow, checked for refrigerant and explained to me that the inside was dirty and that is why the unit keeps shutting off during the very hot days. He used a chemical cleaner to clean it out and he explained that everything else was fine with the unit. He educated me a lot on how the unit should be working and advised me on how often to clean the unit and how often to do maintenance. I was extremely appreciative of everything that he shared with me. So glad that Carlos came out to fix my AC Unit, he was an absolute pleasure to work with, I will definitely call him again for my HVAC needs. Thank you Carlos for everything, I appreciate your hard work. 😀

I have a split unit with 25 year old condenser on top of my building and 10 year old remainder is system in ground floor storage room. I received 6 quotes. Only AHR pricing was inline with Thumbtack estimated cost for similar jobs. Others were 20-120% more. While there were delays in getting started this was result of manufacturing backlogs due to Covid. AHR did their best under circumstances and kept me informed. When they were finally able to install they showed up on time and were in and out in about two hours.

Honestly best experience I have ever had with a trade. This was a big job with crain to install on roof AC/heating. They did it within a week with nest/carrier equipment. They do exactly what they say they will; know their trade back and forth; and just frankly punctual and nice. They are also honorable in making sure you know and understand your options. Spoke with Carlos and he was very responsive through the entire process. He even responded back to my messages after normal business hours. Carlos squeezed us into his schedule sooner than expected, identified the problem correctly and fixed it. It entailed replacing the capacitor and the HVAC started cooling the house again.
I did, however, have a problem with the pricing. I had specifically asked over the phone whether there was a Consult fee for the visit and he had told me No. So, I was expecting a much smaller charger because the capacitor costs $14.95 on Amazon. Instead, I was charged $289, which is exorbitant for the time spent and the part replaced. I feel that his response to me on the phone was not accurate and I was over-charged for the work done.
